Choose Grosslytics if

  • You want self-hosting for $0 instead of $49

  • You want a smaller script (1.5 KB vs 6.4 KB)

DataBull pricing vs Grosslytics pricing

DataBull self-hosted is $49 once, with unlimited sites and events and all future updates; sales are final. The hosted beta costs $9/month for 50,000 events or $19/month for 250,000. In both cases busy sites may need Cloudflare’s $5/month Workers plan, paid to Cloudflare.

Grosslytics self-hosted is $0 and runs on the same Cloudflare building blocks: Workers, D1, a Queue and a Durable Object. Hosted plans are offered from /start.

Same platform, different focus

Both tools keep your visitor and payment data in your own Cloudflare account, and both name in-app browser traffic from Instagram, TikTok and X instead of hiding it as “Direct”. DataBull focuses on getting started fast: an installer, payment history import and alerts. Grosslytics focuses on what a sale was worth to you: gateway fees taken off per provider, ad spend allocated per day, and a profit view for every channel.

Payment providers

This is the clearest dividing line. DataBull covers Stripe, Polar, Dodo Payments and Creem. Grosslytics covers Stripe, Polar, Razorpay, Paddle and Lemon Squeezy. If you sell in India through Razorpay, or use Paddle or Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, Grosslytics is the one that connects.

How to switch from DataBull

  1. Deploy Grosslytics to your Cloudflare account from /start. The setup checks each step against real data, so you know when it works.
  2. Replace the DataBull script tag with the Grosslytics one. You can run both side by side for a week to compare numbers before removing DataBull.
  3. Add one webhook URL in your payment provider (Stripe, Razorpay, Polar, Paddle or Lemon Squeezy). New sales are matched to the visitor who made them.
  4. Add a data-goal attribute to any button you want counted in the “Reached a goal” step.

Setup takes about five minutes. Start the setup ›

Why net revenue matters

Payment providers keep a cut of every sale: Stripe's standard US card rate is 2.9% + 30¢, and merchant-of-record platforms take more. Add ad spend, and a channel with $10,000 in sales, $8,000 in ads and $450 in fees made you $1,550.

Grosslytics ranks channels by revenue per visitor after those costs, so you can see which ones actually pay.
